“My passion has always been to help children so that they never have to experience some of the difficulties I and others in my neighborhood experienced growing up way below the poverty line. I believe if we collectively come together, we can reduce the poverty levels, one child at a time.”
Elizabeth serves as Controller of United Way of Greater Philadelphia, and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ) but is best described as our Numbers and Data Guru, having worked in the consulting industry for over 12 years in helping 100s of Company. Elizabeth is responsible for UWGPSNJ’s long-term financial health, manages accounting and oversees campaign processing.
Prior to joining UWGPSNJ, Elizabeth served as a Senior Manager in PricewaterhouseCooper’s, during her 12-year tenure she held various roles from Data Analyst to Financial Diligence where Elizabeth consulted clients in developing data visualization analytics to help drive a data centric culture in all decision making Most recently Elizabeth was working in PwC’s Deals practice assisting both corporate and private companies in their acquisition, divestiture, or merger transaction.
Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Temple University. Elizabeth holds a CPA license in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, participating in recreational activities including working out, and traveling.
