Amy Leichner

Amy serves as Chief Financial Officer of United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ) but is best described as our Passionate Steward. Amy is responsible for UWGPSNJ’s long-term financial health, manages accounting and oversees campaign processing.

Prior to joining UWGPSNJ, Amy was a Managing Director in PricewaterhouseCooper’s (PwC) Healthcare Deals practice where she assisted corporate and private equity clients with financial due diligence on both buy side and sell side transactions focusing on healthcare and healthcare related industries, including hospitals, payers and providers, pharma and life sciences, and medical device. She joined PwC in July 2015 with over 12 years of consulting experience in forensic accounting and investigations, corporate advisory, restructuring, interim management, and financial due diligence.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business with Honors from Chestnut Hill College and an MBA in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University. Amy also serves on the Board of Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading, traveling, and doing Liberty puzzles. She also enjoys giving back to her favorite city by volunteering.
