The leadership team at United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ) recently welcomed Amy Leichner as Chief Financial Officer.
PHILADELPHIA, PA — United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ) is proud to welcome Amy Leichner as its new Chief Financial Officer.
In this role, Amy is responsible for the organization’s long-term financial health, managing accounting and overseeing campaign processing.
“Amy joins our team as a critical thought partner when it comes to our program, marketing, technology, talent management, and fundraising,” said Bill Golderer, CEO & President of UWGPSNJ. “Her dedication to our mission, in conjunction with unparalleled experience, will be a huge asset not only to United Way, but to the region we serve.”
The CFO provides organizational and functional leadership and direction with regard to UWGPSNJ’s finance related activities. As the financial leader of the organization, Amy will support day-to-day operations, budgets, and long-range planning for the organization. Working in tandem with the other executives, her role includes developing and implementing the UWGPSNJ’s short-term and long-term financial operating model.

Prior to joining UWGPSNJ, Amy was a Managing Director in PricewaterhouseCooper’s (PwC) Healthcare Deals practice where she assisted corporate and private equity clients with financial due diligence on both buy side and sell side transactions focusing on healthcare and healthcare related industries, including hospitals, payers and providers, pharma and life sciences, and medical device. She joined PwC in July 2015 with over 12 years of consulting experience in forensic accounting and investigations, corporate advisory, restructuring, interim management, and financial due diligence.
Amy earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business with Honors from Chestnut Hill College and an MBA in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. Leichner also serves on the Board of Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
