New members bring a wealth of expertise and experience in strategic planning, government affairs, and operations to advance United Way’s mission.
United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ) announced today the addition of three community leaders to its Regional Board of Directors. These newly elected members will strengthen UWGPSNJ’s efforts to end poverty and expand opportunity while uplifting underserved communities throughout Greater Philadelphia.
Joining the twenty-five existing Regional Board Members, these three new members bring a wide array of skills, competencies, and experiences to advance UWGPSNJ’s mission. UWGPSNJ is proud to welcome the following Regional Board Members: Douglas I. Oliver, Senior Vice President of Governmental, Regulatory and External Affairs at PECO; Craig Snelgrove, General Manager and Vice President of Enterprise Mobility; and Kate Wilhelm, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President for Ceisler Media & Issue Advocacy.
Douglas I. Oliver serves as Senior Vice President of Governmental, Regulatory and External Affairs at PECO, where he leads the company's regulatory and legislative strategy, as well as community and philanthropic initiatives. Previously serving as PECO's Vice President of Governmental and External Affairs since 2019, Douglas has played a pivotal role in enhancing PECO's regional position and stakeholder engagement. His career includes roles as Press Secretary for the City of Philadelphia and Vice President of External Affairs at Philadelphia Gas Works.
Craig Snelgrove serves as Vice President and General Manager at Enterprise Mobility, where he oversees the company’s Philadelphia operations. He joined Enterprise as a Management Trainee in 1994 and was named Branch Manager in 1996. In addition, he has held various leadership roles in Detroit, London-Ontario, and Toronto. Craig is a former Board Member of the Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League and a current Board Member of the Satell Institute. He attended Wilfrid Laurier University and resides in Aston, PA with his wife Kristy and their daughter Madison.
Kate Wilhelm serves as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President for Ceisler Media & Issue Advocacy where she leads strategic planning and manages a portfolio of clients. Kate’s expertise assists clients with reputation management, community affairs, and messaging strategy. Kate has helped oversee the firm’s growth and renewed vision across offices in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Harrisburg. She has built relationships with leading local and national businesses and served in executive roles with Fairmount Park Conservancy, Pennsylvania Horticulture Society and other acclaimed institutions. She also serves on the board for the Parkway Council, chairing their Advocacy committee.
