PHILADELPHIA, PA - United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ) announces Harry McCloskey, PhD as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Leveraging a fifteen-year career in healthcare administration, McCloskey brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in strategic planning, change management, and executive leadership.
As Chief Operating Officer, McCloskey will collaborate closely with the CEO to translate the strategic vision of UWGPSNJ into operational success, with responsibility for continuous planning, forecasting, assessment, and adjustment of organizational performance.

Most recently, McCloskey served as Chief Operating Officer at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital, where he led a complex and growing hospital and outpatient network focused on improving care and access to the communities in Montgomery County, PA.

I look forward to utilizing my leadership and experience to contribute to United Way's poverty-fighting mission.”
McCloskey holds dual doctorates in Complex Systems Leadership from Thomas Jefferson University and in Business Administration from Wilmington University. He also holds an MBA from Rowan University.
Additionally, McCloskey is an adjunct faculty member at Rowan University and serves on various advisory boards.
