United Way Recognizes Susan Jacobson as 2021 Women United Honoree As Part of Annual Power of the Purse Event

PHILADELPHIA, PA — On December 8 at 5:30 p.m., Susan Jacobson, President of Jacobson Strategic Communications, will be honored with the 2021 Women United Award during United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey's (UWGPSNJ) annual Women United Power of the Purse event. This award is presented annually to a female leader who has given her time, talent, and resources to support the work of United Way throughout the region.

Susan is the president of Jacobson Strategic Communications, a leading Philadelphia-based public relations, public affairs, and crisis management firm that boasts many awards and recognitions, including a spot on the Inc. 5000 for three consecutive years. Prior to starting the firm, Susan oversaw government relations for former Philadelphia Mayor Ed Rendell as Deputy Chief of Staff. Actively engaged in the community, Susan is the Chair of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, serves on the Governor’s Pennsylvania Commission for Women, Vice-Chair of the National PBS Foundation Board, and is a contributor to Forbes.com.
