The Future of Philadelphia: A Mayoral Town Hall Debate
At United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, we work with community members from the nonprofit, public and private sectors to change lives and strengthen communities across our region – one child, one adult, one family at a time.
Please join us on the evening of Tuesday, September 29, 2015, as we host The Future of Philadelphia: A Mayoral Town Hall Debate. Independent Candidate Jim Foster, Socialist Workers Party Candidate Osborne Hart, Democratic Candidate Jim Kenney, Independent Candidate Boris Kindij, and Republican Candidate Melissa Murray Bailey will participate. Tamala Edwards of WPVI-TV (6ABC) will be moderating the debate, and United Way Impact Partners Urban Affairs Coalition and Economy League of Greater Philadelphia will be joining us that evening as co-sponsors.
With the mayoral election fast-approaching on November 3, 2015, we invite you to come hear from the candidates themselves as they discuss important issues that will strengthen Philadelphia from their perspectives.
Whether you live and work within the city limits, or just have an interest in local politics – you won’t want to miss this debate! Admission is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
Online Registration is Now Closed
The Mayoral Town Hall Debate is open to the public and walk-ins will be accepted based on availability. Any non-registered attendees are not guaranteed admission. Admission will be first come, first served.
