Trends in Charitable Giving

Internationally we raised $5.14 billion in 2011-2012, reflecting $3.9 billion in the U.S. and $1.2 billion from our partners and members around the world, making United Way the world’s largest privately-supported charity. We continue to be inspired that, against the backdrop of this tough economic environment, you, and other like-minded individuals, remain committed to improving lives, with the goal of driving real, measurable change throughout our region.

Behavioral challenges in preschool and early childhood settings often result in expulsion, leaving the root causes of issue unaddressed.
